Guardians – part 3
You can appoint one or more Guardians in your Will to take care of any of your children who are under eighteen. If you are married, the Guardian will not act until you and your husband or wife have both died. If you are a woman not married to the father of your child, you will have sole parental rights, and the father will not become the Guardian unless you appoint him by your Will. If you want him to have any parental rights while you are both still alive, a special agreement has to be signed.
